An age-old tradition for kids is to come home and eat a snack. Cookies and milk was the customary after school snack next to having a piece of fruit. The snack should be healthy but still taste great. Today the microwave has helped make snacks more interesting but, there are still a few good ole snacks that kids can make to eat all by themselves. If any cooking is needing to be done the microwave is the option chosen for the recipe. Also, butter knifes should be sharp enough for them to cut with but not hurt them.
